In Industry field, before the design is putted into final mass production stage, most customers need to have some parts to do test first, to check the precision, and test material performance.
For this kind of small batch demand, before, RT-Rapid Tooling (Vacuum Casting) is widely used. Especially for quantity within 100 sets range. RT can help customer with small batch prototypes request and simulate different general plastic material performance. But with development of industry, customers have variety demands more and more on materials and high quality request, even on prototype stage. Customers want to have ‘real product’ in prototype stage both in performance and material. Also the quantity for trail test require more prototypes with lower cost.
Trial mould, or fast mould, is naturally born for the variety request from single prototype to mass production. To be a good supplementary for RT and mass production, triail/fast mold help customers get prototypes same performance with mass production.
